Foundation & Early Beginnings
Christian Family Ministries traces its roots back to 2009, when it was established following a significant meeting in Lincolnshire. This foundational gathering was motivated by a genuine passion for service, leading to the formation of a small house fellowship. The commitment and unity displayed in these early days set the stage for further development.
House of Peace - Tidworth
The first physical location of Christian Family Ministries was established in Tidworth, fondly named "House of Peace". Under the visionary leadership of Rev. Mike Tembo, this congregation became a beacon of hope and spiritual guidance for the community.
Registered Charity Status
Building on this strong beginning, the fellowship formalized its presence and became a registered charity on 1 April 2011, operating under the registration number 1141372. This step marked a major milestone in the church's growth and legitimacy, allowing it to broaden its impact and extend its reach across communities.
House of Judah - Swindon
As the ministry grew, Christian Family Ministries expanded to Swindon with the establishment of the "House of Judah". Under the pastoral care of Ps. Nana Asante, this location served as a spiritual sanctuary for believers seeking fellowship, guidance, and community support.
House of Revival - Salisbury
In 2016, Christian Family Ministries continued its expansion with the opening of the "House of Revival" in Salisbury. Led by Rev. Douglas Asante, this vibrant congregation became known for its dynamic worship, biblical teaching, and dedication to spiritual renewal.
Multi-Site Peak & COVID-19 Impact
By 2020, Christian Family Ministries had reached its zenith, operating in three vibrant locations across Wiltshire and Berkshire. However, the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic prompted a period of reflection and adjustment. The congregation demonstrated resilience and unity during this unprecedented time.
Unified Community & Continued Growth
In response to the pandemic, the congregation consolidated its activities and now meets together as a unified body in Tidworth, ensuring continued fellowship and shared purpose. Though operating from one location, the spirit of Christian Family Ministries remains vibrant, with plans for future expansion and deeper community impact.
We remain committed to our founding vision: to nurture families in faith, equip believers for purposeful living, and serve as a light in our communities.
